Back in February Chris Parkhurst of Barang Films brought me to Cambodia. I was lucky to spend weeks as his cinematographer, shooting a short documentary and even shorter commercial. Both videos below are for Bronze Lake Resort, a cultural heritage vacation spot in the middle of the country.
The first video will soon appear on the resort’s website, explaining the history of the place to international travelers. The second is a short commercial to be shown on local Cambodian television.
Bronze Lake continues to grow and I think it is a great place to stay. It exists halfway between the capital, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap, home of Ankor Wat. The jobs created and the roads built are helping revitalize the village of Kampong Thmor. If you get the chance, you really should stop by.
