My time in Germany was like some sort of wonderful version of being kicked in the nuts. It was exhilarating, took my breath away and after the pain subsided, inspired me to reflect on the events that led me there. During a nearly two week stretch, I spent time in Breman, Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Regensburg and Munich. Every place had much to offer in terms of culture, adventure and people. As a result, I was too busy doing things to care much for using my camera. On a few occasions, though, I managed to drag the old D90 out, hold it to my face, twist a couple knobs and press a few buttons. This was most likely to happen if the event involved adorable animals, adorable cartoons, or nudity.
When subject matter from those three categories wasn’t available, I made due with my new friends, enigmatic moments, or Keanu Reeves.
